The Question Market goes like this…
I’m absolutely fascinated by people who dedicate their lives to creativity. I’m a working graphic designer and every day I get to interact with incredibly interesting, talented, and creative people.
Each week, I email various people a question about them and their creative process and habits. I want to know how and why they do what they do. I ask that they keep their answer to a maximum of two paragraphs. Hopefully, the recipients are attentive, and I’ll have several responses. Of those, three will be posted to the site.
I want Question Market to become a central location for the exchange of ideas and approaches to creativity. I’m interested to see what things can be found in common between all these different creative people. Designers, filmmakers, writers, chefs, athletes, comedians, moms, cab drivers, entrepreneurs, students, farmers, politicians…etc.
My hope is that this site is a glimpse inside these incredible creative minds and perhaps a chance to expose these ideas and people to a greater audience. I am a graphic designer by trade, but think there’s something about creative minds that transcends one’s own genre or area of expertise and connects all of us.
